Methodology
How Cite N Seek Checks AI Visibility
The method separates website understanding from live recommendation checks, preserves the evidence behind each result, and labels every provider limitation.
Free Vibe Check
Step 1: read the public homepage as business evidence.
The free check fetches one public homepage, removes navigation noise and unsafe instructions, and analyzes visible business information. It looks for the category, offer, audience, location, proof, and missing details.
The output is deliberately narrow: what AI thinks the business does, who it serves, what is clear, what is unclear, the biggest blocker, and one first fix. No live recommendation search is claimed.
Paid report
Step 2: create neutral questions from the business context.
The paid flow uses the website, service area, best-customer description, and competitor context to create ten questions a real customer might ask.
The target business name is not placed into a discovery question. Questions focus on needs, use cases, locations, comparisons, and buying situations so the result can reveal genuine visibility instead of prompted brand recall.
Live provider evidence
Step 3: run connected checks and save what happened.
- 1
Record the provider and date
Every result stays attached to the actual provider surface that ran.
- 2
Save the answer and citations
The report stores answer text, named businesses, source links, and outcome evidence.
- 3
Classify conservatively
Recommended, mentioned, cited, and missing mean different things and are not collapsed into one vague score.
- 4
Report unavailable checks
A provider failure or unconnected adapter is labeled unavailable, never replaced with invented data.
From result to action
Step 4: connect recommendations to stored evidence.
Fixes are built from the submitted website, provider answers, cited sources, and competitor pattern. The report covers website clarity, proof, service and use-case pages, business profiles, content opportunities, and a realistic 30-day order of work.
Recommendations are automated drafts. Customers should verify source links and review important website changes before publishing them.
Method limits
What this method does not prove.
Cite N Seek does not claim:
- That an API answer matches every consumer app session.
- That one query represents every customer or market.
- That a recommendation will stay in place.
- That a website change guarantees rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue.
